Has anyone stayed in room #9162 on the Constellation? Is the balcony/room any bigger than other category 1As? How is the view? Also, although the handicap accessible room next to it looks to be the same size, would it be any larger? Thanks.

The cabin size is the same as all 1 A's, but the balcony is more than 200 sq ft----larger than the cabin!

Yes, the handicapped cabin is larger than the regular 1A aft cabin, Celebrity gave the dimensions as 252 sq. ft. for the cabin. It's wider and has a larger bathroom with a roll in shower and lots of hand rails.

We have stayed in both 1A on deck 9 and 1B on deck 8 and prefered the cabin on deck 8.
The overhang on deck 9 blocks the sun and seems like a roof over the balcony.

is there an overhang on the aft facing cabins? from the pix, it doesn't appear so. we are booked in 9201 on the summit -- long wait till 1-2-04 -- and can't wait to experience our first aft cabin -

9162 is on the stern and isn't affected by the "dreaded overhang" although it does have a partially covered area. You pretty much have your choice of cover/open air. It is a great cabin and veranda and we bet you'll be thrilled with it. We sailed on Summit, which is a sister ship with the same layout, and were in the corner cabin and could see the veranda of the cabin you're in. It is great!

Relax and prepare to enjoy a great sailing!

We are having difficulty deciding between Cabins 9133 an 9185 on the Summit. Can anyone give us details on which they think is better and why? Also, it would be great to hear from folks who have been in either of these cabins and their pluses and minuses. Thanks.
