We saw the Kandela show in the DR and it is a show not to be missed. It is in an outdoor amphitheater at 8:00 PM and is worth every penny and even worth missing a night in the dining room.. lol. Lots of dancing, singing, lights, etc. Terrific show.

First, this site is great fun! I'm taking my first ever cruise on Feb 12th on Constellation and strongly suspect that I will become a cruise addict.

Second, I booked the BOB excursion in St. Thomas. It sounded sooooo cool... an underwater motor scooter?!?!? Has anyone done this one?

Third. has anyone been to Grenada or Antiqua since this year's hurricanes? I heard they took quite a hit, and was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding shore excursions to these locations.

I sailed on January second and we went to Antigua (pronounced with no u), and it was just fine, we had a great time on the beach at Runaway Bay, our friends had an equally good time at Dickinson Bay.

The BOB thing looks really neat, but I have not done it, I have a thing with fishys.

Have FUN! We both just posted reviews of our particular cruise in the appropriate section.

We are on the same sailing (Jan. 29th). We plan to stay on the ship in DR and spend some time in the Aqua Spa. In Barbados we are doing the Silver Moon catamaran excursion that takes you swimming with the turtles, snorkeling at a shipwreck and some time at the beach.

We've read that Grenada was pretty devastated by the hurricane and the entire island looks like a forest fire without the blackened trees, so we're just going to head to Grand Anse beach and relax. In Antigua we are going to do Eli's Eco Tour which we hear is marvelous. When we arrive in St. Thomas, we are going to take the ferry over to St. John's and then a taxi to Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay to hang out at the beach and perhaps snorkle a bit.

I did a lot of researching for this cruise, so if you have any questions e-mail me at esaylor@aol.com. Perhaps I can answer them for you.
