Hi Everyone, You can now go into your profiles and set your home location on a Google Map. Just click on 'My Control Center' and then click on 'Edit My Profile'. You can then enter your Zip code or other location info or even pinpoint a stop on the map by hand. Then press the SUBMIT button on the bottom to set your Home Location. This will not be publicly visible under your profile and also be shown with others on a global usermap which will show all user locations that have been set. :)

well now, that was fun... got in close enough on the map to put the little marker right in front of our house :lol

Google earth picture was taken at least 2 years ago since we now have sidewalks across the street from us with new trees planted and the soccer/football field a block away is astroturf instead of ugly unkept grass!

I put mine in last night using just my zip code - it came up pretty close to the exact locaion. It's really neat and I for one would love to have everyone at least put in state so like Nessie when the talk is local (ie. weather) I too will know where it's happening.

=coolsign Put in the address and saw the marker show up right where it was supposed to. Looked out tha window and saw that a new pin showed up in the front yard! (NOT!) :lol :lol :lol

Pretty cool...........except it put my marker smack dab in the neighbor's(across the street) house..=huh

PS.and I dont like those people!!:)P)

John... I tried to put ours in.. but it did not work..

somehow it refused to pinpoint Windsor Castle =huh

Too wierd =eek I got pretty close to my house and when I went to see how close I found out that KcCab is very, very close =eek I don't know if I want all to know how close to where I really live :(

Fun but strange - the satilight image just shows empty lots wonder how old it is??

Wow!! I just pretty much plunked that little bubble point down on my computer desk in my study at home...So, now you all know exactly where I live...Should I be concerned??? Naaaaahhhh...only nice people here...

That was pretty cool! It is my first time on this site. I just registered and I have found that this is a very updated high tech site. I have visited other sites and have found this one to be much more informative and fun to use.:wave I can't wait to use the smiley doc dance!
