My first thoughts are those stairs and workout done on return from the lake! Lovely forest bathing there for sure. Will you sit still enough for the hummies to land on your finger? I’ve held the feeder and had them sit and feed close to my face for a close look. Takes a while though.. lol!
Not these hummers. Perhaps because they have had kids around them in the past.
once upon on a time I lived right on one of their migratory paths. It was an amazing experience.
Someone came out from the Hummingbird society. They estimated tnat I was having over 600 visitors a day.
I had three 34oz feeders and two 24 oz feeders, and I filled tnem twice a day.
when I would go out the door with a fresh feeder, they were already lining up. And drinking it as I was hanging it up.
you know how two hummers will fight over a feeder or two? Well, when tnere are so many birds, they do not fight. They actually line up..like jets coming in for landings. So funny to see.
and you can imagine the amount of sugar I was buying from the commissary! I almost expected to be raided for running a still!
