Had a great time, we were in cabin A435 it is one of the bump out cabins mid ship. The view was out of this world. Would be happy to answer any questions, Can't wait to sail again [Princess] This is our 19th cruise five with Princess.

I have a few questions!!

How was embarkation? What time did you arrive and how long did it take?

How was disembarkation? What time were you off the ship and at the airport?

Did you use the onboard photo shop's services?

What dining did you have? Was your waiter good?

Any tips or suggestions? We cruise in less than 60 days!! :jump :jump

Thanks for the info.! :thumb

Embarkation was a bit hairy. As there had been incidences of Norovirus on the sailing before us, they were santizing the entire ship when we got there. We were supposedly allowed to board at 12 but it was 2:30 before the sanitazation was done. Without such a "mix up" embarkation is usually quick and painless!

Disembarkation is very structured by Princess, allowing those with airline reservations before noon to disembark first. It's all color coded and they stick to their schedule. We were off the ship just in time to make an 11:15 flight from Ft. Lauderdale, but that was only because there was some sort of "technical difficulty" they needed to straighten out in port. I'd recommend not making flight plans for earlier that noon, just to be sure you'd make the airport in time.

We didn't use the onboard photo shop's services, so we can't tell you how they are. The setup looks really impressive though. We have a digital camera with a 1mb card, so we didn't need their services.

We had Personal Choice Dining. Ate in the Dining Room 6 of the 10 nights and great staff each time. The rest of the nights we ate at the buffet in Horizon Court. Also excellent!

They have a special deal on Mexican Beer onboard.. buy 4 bottles and you get 5th one free, in a bucket of ice (you can bring it back to your cabin and put it in your refrigerator).. if you plan to do this... bring a bottle opener!!

Can't think of anything else but if you have any more questions...ask away!!

Good to know that we should be flexible if the cruise before ours has Noro problems. We're not big beer drinkers, (try 1-2 a year), but we do pack a travel corkscrew. :grin Good point for those that enjoy beer to pack a bottle opener. :thumb

We have an 11 AM flight out of FLL so I'll be talking with those at the Purser's Desk the night before in hopes of obtaining one of the first group's tags.

Thanks for the great info.! :thumb :wave

We were also on the trip and were in cabin D702. Had a fantastic time and will be writing a review in a few days.

The mix up when we were getting off the ship was because the luggage had been off loaded backwards. We were off and fighting for a cab (never come back to Ft. Lauderdale on a Sunday - 6 other ships in at the same time) by 10:00 AM. We had to slip the cab drive and extra $10.00 to take us.

If you flight leaves before noon you will get RED tags either 1,2,3,4....

Any other questions feel free to email me if you want.

Glad to hear about the beer special. We will be on the Coral when it sails March 12th. We drink other stuff, but like a nice cold beer. What kind of Mexican beer? So, like how much was it for the 4/w 1 free? Also, does the ship serve only bottles or draft, too? Thanks for the help, just curious about the $$!

Cabin A-435 is on floor 12. The next deck is 14 and the pool deck, above that the sundeck. When people run - you can hear it.. When they open and place deck chairs you can hear it!
Not to say that it's "noisy" but you do hear the sounds from above.

How nice to know of someone who will use "our" cabin in the future!! Hope you have the very best time!!
