HI !

I just would like to say , that Puerto Ricans do NOT have any special price on cruises for living in P.R , they just pay the same as You for cabins , for example if you pay
$ 2,000.00 for a cabin , the puerto ricans will pay 2,000.00 for the same cabin , they have the same price , for all cruises and all cruise lines That salis from P.R

Thanks !

That definitely depends on the circumstances. We were on both the Radiance and the Adventure a couple of months after 9/11 and there had been so many cancellations the cruise line was offering Puerto Ricans cruises for $299. per person. No complaints about the Puerto Ricans, nice folks, but it was kind of tough to keep hearing about their bargain after we had paid $4400. for the two cruises back to back. We didn't get any special perks either.

I've seen a number of complaints from cruisers about Puerto Rico residents being offered last minute discounts. But not once have I seen/heard anyone complain re Florida resident discounts. Why the difference?

I've met Floridians on cruises who loved talking about the bargains they got. The way we feel about it is that we booked and were happy with our deal, so do not complain. However, it would be nice if the people who got the bargain fares would keep their mouths shut and not rub it in. It seems kind of ignorant and rude to me.
