cost of excursions

Is there anyway to find out the cost of excursions? We are cruising in April, and would like to begin saving for the excursions we want to take.

BTW, we will be on the Conquest, and are scheduled for stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

you have to call carnival for the prices they do not list them online, however with their new online booking engine you may be able to see prices after nov 25th of this year :)

You also might want to do some research and see what you can do on your own on the islands by taking a cab, etc. That will save you a bundle, since the Cruise tours are always overpriced. Of course, on the other hand, you don't have to worry about time, or intinerary when taking a cruise tour.

I have a link to the excursions (with prices) at home which I'll post when I get home tonight. I found it on another board....

We went through Nativeway ($25 per person) for StingRay City in Grand Cayman and would highly recommend them.
We really enjoyed going on our own via cab to Chanaknaab in Cozumel. We did book 1 excursion through Carnival (Mermaid Sub-Ocean view boat for $45 per person) and while it was nice, we enjoyed the time on our own at Chankanaab more and it cost alot less!

For Grand Cayman, I would suggest checking the ships schedule for Stingray City tours.
Because you tender in that port, sometimes the ships trip is worth a little extra $$$.
The reason is that most ships are not in port that long at GC and if you book via the ship you are the first group off the boat. In our case tenders started running at 8AM, but our shore excursion left the ship at 7AM. That gained us at least a one hour or more start on all others. Our ship left Grand Cayman at 2PM so that gave everyone about 5 hours in port.
In that case it was worth the extra $10.00 per person cost of booking a ship excursion to save the time.

(at least to us)

When we tendered in Grand Cayman, everyone got off the boat after 8am--even those with 7am and 7:30 Carnival tours! Perhaps this is the exception, not the rule but I would have been mad if I would have booked through Carnival! People at our dinner table actually were too late for their Carnival tour so they missed it :(
The Stingray City tour through Nativeway was only 2 1/2 hours total so we had plenty of time to get off the ship as well as get back on the ship.
