The Port Complex is not a bad thing to do. You have a beach with free chairs, a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, a beach bar with music, restaurants, and shops right there at the ship dock.
Going to Majahaul which is a quick taxi ride away is what we really enjoyed. (Easy to get a taxi at the roundtrip cost of $5 per person.) Majahaul STILL has some of its fishing village charater left. When you order drinks from any of the beach front bars, you can use their beach chairs at no cost. These bars are directly on the beach, only steps away. Wear a bathing suit! Cold Beer $2.00!

How bout Horseback riding or the Beach Break??????????

I wouldnt book the horseback riding until you get there. We were there in February and it was very hto there then.. and the horses were tied up to a tree outside with no shade. I have heard they are better treated now then back then. Check it out for yourself.
