If you are looking for a good beach day, I suggest taking a taxi to Mahajual. It is way cheaper than Costa Maya. I just walk dow the beach, till one of the guys is nice to me, negotiate a chair and table, always ask for the first drink to be included of course I really like the relaxed feel of Mahajual (many different spellings), but others enjoy the party atmosphere in Costa Maya. I have to admit I have been induced to have one more Cocktail as I approach the party when coming back to the ship.
