Costa Rica Rain Forest Canopy Aerial Tramway Excursion

Would like to take canopy shore excursion. 1 1/2 hours each way in bus plus 75 minute canopy ride. That's 4 hours 15 minutes. Tour is 7 hours 45 minutes. What do you do for the extra 3 1/2 hours. I NEED TO KNOW!!
Anybody been on this tour and is it worth it?

Sorry don't know, but I can say that the the Horseback excur. in Costa Rica was the best shore trip we have ever been on. The people are so well educated and we felt we got our $$ worth! I will always remember the mango orchard we rode through.

Second visit we did the river rafting tour. It was good, but the horses were better!

Hi, we are going to take this excursion and to my knowledge the extra time is to wait your turn for the zip line. We could be standing, hopefully sitting for a couple of hours before we get our turn. I saw a picture and they only put a few people in each carrier. Kind of like waiting in line to go on the ferris wheel. Hope this helps. We still think it will be worth the wait.

Big Mike --the info I have on the tour states it is 5 hours duration & costs $124.00 per person. Is this the same tour you are talking about?

Hi big Mike,

We just got back from a cruise on another line, and my wife took that excursion. She really enjoyed it. It did take about the time you quoted before she got back to the pier. The long bus rides scared me off of going. I had not been to Costa Rica before, but had gone on a tour to tolum that had really crappy old busses, and crazy drivers. This excursion uses very nice, modern motor coaches.

My wife said that they had some time for a meal that is provided, time for shopping, and also there were stops at a banana plantation and a cocoa plantation.
