My husband and I are first-time cruisers. Our ports of call are Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios. A few people gave me some great information regarding the Imagination cruise line. Our cabin is located on the Empress level. Is there anymore information you can give us about crusing? Also, how are the waters during this time? Should we take seasickness medication before leaving? Thanks in advance.

My friend and I took Bonine because we didn't want anything messing up our cruise...we ended up sleeping through part of the afternoon and our entire first night of our first cruise. I say either get the wristbands or wait and see how you do before medicating, but that's just my experience.

My sister told me that they also have a patch. I will check with my doctor about the wristband, and the patch. No Bonine, I do not want to sleep my first day away. LOL Thanks for the information.

My first cruise was on the Imagination on the EMPRESS level....I am pretty easy to please.....and thought our rooms were larger than expected especially the shower part which I had heard horror stories on size!!! Plenty of room to hang things, etc. We decided to keep our beds separate so that we had more walking room. Everything was great...the shows...the food....we were with a bunch from my OLD high school and we were all turning 50!!! The excursions we took in Ocho Rios was the Jeep Safari and would do again in a heartbeat....loved it!!! We snorkled just off from where you tender to in Grand Cayman...heading back there November 14th and probably will do the tour and turtle farm for something to do. Our favorite part was going up front in the dark and seeing the stars, moon, and in the early, early a.m. to watch us sail and dock in ports! Have a great cruise!

Hi Crusingrightalong:

The Jeep Safari sounds like fun. We're going to take you up on that one. During the Safari tour, is one of the stops Dunn's River Falls? What about river tubing, is there another place to tube besides Dunn's River Falls? Is tubing really fun, as I here it is?
Last question, how do you get the little icons (pictures; days to travel, etc) placed at the bottom of each thread that is posted? I've seen quite of few nice ones, and would like to put some at the bottom of my threads.

Thanks for the information, and have another great cruise November 14th!

Answer to the Jeep question.....yes the end of the tour is a trip to Dunn's River Falls to climb them or walk up beside of them. One of the friends ended up "holding" everything for everyone so I walked with her up beside the falls. My husband and others climbed them. We decided we liked out walk up beside better....our husbands agreed and we are pretty active people. However, would probably do!!! You will love the Safari....interesting the poverty and yet the school children all wear uniforms to school and are neat and clean...even though there is no running water!!! usually. We are now going to do the Cockatoo Catamaran in Grand Cayman. Getting too many good reviews not to do.

Are you back from your trip yet? My husband and I are going on the Imagination Dec. 13 to the same ports and we've never been out of the state of Iowa so I would like all of the information you could give me about your trip. We are a little nervous but really excited. Did they serve lobster? Could you give me any sample menus? Any info you could give me about your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, hope you had a great time!!!!!
