Cozumel Excursion on Navigator

We are cruising in Feb and I am thinking about doing private excursions for our ports of call, but can't seem to find any for Cozumel. The one on the ship sounds pretty good--includes Tulum, and Xel-Ha--but will cost me almost $300 (my two sons, too).

Would like to see Tulum, but really don't want to spend that much.

So, what is your question then?

Are you asking for Coz shore excursion ideas or web sites?

Here are some web sites that might be what you are looking for:

dolphindiscovery.com
<a href=http://www.cozumelinsider.com/>Cozumelinsider.com </a>
<a href=http://www.cozumel.to/tours/swim_with_dolphins.html>www.cozumel.to</a>

These should keep you busy for a few minutes. Hope they are what you were looking for.

The ferry is around $ 12.00 per person round trip, and the bus fare was less than $ 10.00 round trip. The entrance to Tulum wasn't much either.

The three of you should be able to do he Tulum for less than $ 100.00 total. Be careful about the return ferry, as it skips an hour in the afternoon, and you want to be sure and be back to San Miquel before the ship leaves. You need to have 7 or 8 hours in Cozumel to make a relaxing day out of the trip. The ferry ride is an hour each way and the bus/cab ride an hour each way to Tulum. That's 4 hours plus the time to and from the ferry pier in San Miquel back to the ship's pier.

Unless your son's are older, this might not be the best of excursion in Cozumel for kids.

We are going to Chankanaab park to swim with the dolphins. You can book at Cozumelinsider.com; book in advance. Dolphins are a bit pricey, but you can take a taxi to the park and pay $10 entrance fee. lisa
