Cozumel - good snokel, no kids

I hope some of you experts can lead me towards a good beach. We are both experienced SCUBA divers, but one of us will be recovering from surgery, so no diving. I am looking for a beach with very good snorkel, even if it means a good swim out to the reef. I am trying to avoid a noisy place with kids jumping on trampolines. Less kids, the better. Beach-wise, something witha few chairs and umbrellas or cover and a few Coronas would be nice. Any suggestions?

Dzul Ha has great snorkeling from the shore. Not much "beach" to speak of, but a really nice place with tables, umbrellas, coronas - all the necessary items!

Check out www.cozumelinsider.com for some good hints. We booked a snorkel trip through them with eagle ray divers and had a great time. A three reef snorkel trip with only 12 ppl for the first half of the day and only 4 for the last half...it was great!

Have Fun!

I heard that Paradise Beach was nice, but I have not been there. Don't know if any snorkling reefs there.
We did the jeep tour that took us to a beach where we did the snorkle thing.
The reef was far out, and some turned around, but this old 66 y/o did the thing.
Don't remember the beach name, but you should be able to find out.
