Wife and I are cruising on the Conquest (1/23/2005), we have our shore excursions booked for Montego Bay and Grand Cayman. Need help in deciding what to do in Cozumel, port time from 10:30 AM to 6 PM. Neither want to scuba, wife won't parasail. Wife might go for snorkling, I know I would enjoy it. Would like to go on an excusion where we aren't PACKED ONTO or INTO LIKE SARDINES IN A CAN if you know what I mean........anyone have ideas or actual experiences, please let us know. Also if you can furnish a web-site, name of company or phone number, it would be very appreciative. Thanks, Mike & Mary, dutch4@cox.net

We did the "Fury Catamaran Sail and Snorkel" ;.. and to this day it's one of our favorite excursions. we went snorkeling , and then afterwards to a great beach and then the sail back to the ship.soda, punch and beer available after the snorkeling was done....awesome and they do take still photos and DVD's of the snorkelers if you want to purchase them.( and t-shirts I =love mine..)......Cozumel is world renowned for the beautiful snorkeling so I'd vote for this..we did book it through Princess..But would imagine they are on the net too.... Have fun...:)..Joanne

We always rent Jeeps in Coz and drive around, doing or seeing whatever we want. A few weeks ago we went to Chankanaab Park to swim with the dolphins. That was pretty fun, but we didn't get to see much of Chankanaab Park because we were running out of time, Ive heard the park is lovely... consider checking that out. I've also read great things about the Dune Buggy tours - do it independently, not through the cruise line for a less crowded experience (this involved driving up the north end of the island and some snorkeling/beach stops).

Last time I was in Cozumel we booked off ship with eagleray charters. It was great! We found them through the web site Cozumelinsider.com. We will be back there the end of this month and are looking forward to snorkleing with them again!
