The Crazy Monkey Canopy Ride is a cable system at the top of the trees. There is a platform in each tree and a cable from one tree to the other. Every 5 persons they have 2 tour guides. One tour guide is in the first platform sending you and the other tour guide is in the next platform receiving you. It works by gravity.
There are 14 platforms and 2 hanging bridges. It takes 1 1/2 hour. You go up to the first platform by stairs. The drive to get there from the port is about 2 hours with a few stops on the way to look for animals and also the banana plantation.
The Canopy Ride is inside a Lodge named Almonds & Corals, is the best shore excursion I ever had.....I recomend this to anyone.....all the family can do it....no matter how old or how heavy you are.
