We were on the Ecstasy in June and the Captain told us all about their volunteering at the orphanage in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Captain Scala is one of the most personable captains we have ever had on a cruise. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival and are going again on the Ecstasy in November. The captain and crew volunteer at the orphanage on the days that they are docked in Progreso. This is a wonderful ship to sail on and a wonderful crew!!!
