This is a different port than what was supposed to be done. Just curious what Princess
tours if any are there at this port. We are only there for 4 hours.

Cristobal in Panama? If yes, that is the formal name of the port for Colon. The "eastern" entrance to the Panama Canal. What does the ship do the rest of the day (after the 4 hours docked?

Two years ago, we spent the better part of a day there as a substitute for Cartegena. These were the tours we were offerred:

Ocean to Ocean Train Ride

Tour the Canal by Bus

Eco-Tour of the Canal

Have you checked out the Cruise Personalizer page on the Princess Web site? You can find a list of the ship-sponsored tours there.

The rest of the day we are transiting the canal. And yes I do mean Panama. The personalizer hasn't worked for days for me and many others. I presume since we have already gone through the canal we'll just be shoppng. As I have read there is some
shopping vendors at the port. I'm hoping they let us get to the locks. As we are going west to east. But thanks for the information.

We were there for about 4 hours in October. There's a big, open-air building with some shops and lots of vendors, similar to a craft-fair (except some of the natives were au naturale). A group of entertainers danced through the crowds. That was about it.

Thanks! for the information. I figured that would be it. I was hoping when Princess finally
quit the cat and mouse game on the port we got instead of Cartenega, Co. Ah! Well, such is life. After having gone throught the canal before I'd love to have been able to actually see it from the inside out. As in seeing the places the cars were crossing from side to side and the people that were walking around at the locks. Maybe some day.
