Cruise Ship Parking Advice

Hello everyone,
I have visited/lived in New Orleans several times. There is a great deal of traffic near the terminals because of construction, especially on Sundays. Saturdays are not as bad, but still pretty packed. I have two pieces of advice for you guys going to the cruise. Travel agencies have told me to arrive before noon, but that is when the traffic is most hectic, since there are people getting off the ships between 8-10 AM and then others trying to get on it. If you must go before noon, go after 11AM (especially on Sundays).
Since I was going on a cruise leaving from New Orleans, I looked online a lot for different parking options. I found a website offering 12 dollars a night with one night free......so I went to them. The people were really nice, the car was sheltered and I was transported to the terminal as soon as I was done parking and using their bathroom.
Anyway as I said two pieces of advice: 1) Arrive after 11AM 2) Go to www.machupicchutours.com and reserve a parking spot with them. You will get to the terminal faster, no pushing in lines, and it is cheaper.

Bon Voyage everyone!
