For past cruises, I always wear sun dresses to dinner. They pack well and usually look fairly good in the dining rooms. It isn't a bad idea to pack one very light sweater as sometimes the dining rooms are a bit chilly. Take stuff that you can interchange - shorts and shirts that can be worn with several items. I found myself in my bathing suit and cover up for most of the day. I also suggest a backpack or beach bag that you can take with you on shore. Good luck and have fun!
