Cruisetour Luggage Restriction?

Doing northbound Alaska cruisetour on Vision in July. My mother is doing southbound Sun Princess cruisetour leaving this week and she was told by the TA that she is restricted to 1 piece of checked luggage and 1 carry-on due to limited space on the bus.

Anybody else have experience with luggage restrictions on Alaska cruisetours?

The rule of thumb is what you can bring on the plane, then this is what you could bring on the ship.

We received our paperwork from Princess, we set sail on Monday from Vancouver and there is no restriction.

You my bring one bag for each peson on the Land Tour part of your trip.
The cruise luggage is stored for you and will be at your door of your cabin.
