Hi, I always lock my luggage when I arrive at the cruiseport. The porters and crew workers will not open up your luggage. I do use those TSA small locks. But I never pack jewelry or meds in my luggage.My main concern is when I buy new luggage.... I buy cheapy luggage because the porters do throw your luggage and let the rain fall on it just like in the airports.I bought me a beautiful new luggage and I am thinking of saving it for land travel when I drive my car and arrive at a hotel with my nice new luggage.I plan to use old luggage for Carnival ships.I pack one small suitcase with sodas and water bottles since I drive my car to the cruiseport.
