WE just got back from our Jan. 16th to the 24th cruise on the Carnival Freedom. I knew nothing of any anti-lock rules. We put locks on our luggage at the port and our luggage was at our door before dinner. We leave in Dec. on the Miracle and plan on using our locks. I will call and ask about their new rule and find out if the porters are Carnival employees, and let them know I will hold them responsible if they remove my locks and anything comes up missing while being left in the hall lock free. Maybe if they get enough complaints this will be changed back to locks permitted.
