When we were there, the sand on the beach was the hottest sand I'd ever experienced in my life. Much too hot to stand on barefooted. Thank goodness we were wearing water shoes, or I'd never have gotten near the water. FWIW It was late May, and although the weather was hot, it wasn't remarkably so.Now the situation would easily be different from day to day. Just offering this as a "heads up" so you can be careful with that baby.
