Was wondering if anyone knows what is allowed thru customs-as far as liquor goes?
When we went to Western Caribbean-we could only bring 2 bottles per person
When we went to Eastern Caribbean-I think it was 4 bottles per person

We are now going to Panama Canal (Aruba, Costa Rica, Panama, Grand Cayman)....does anyone know what we can bring back.....or where I could find this information?

Any help would be much appreciated.....leaving in 13days!!!!
YEAH!!!!! Get me out of this SNOW!!

Just got back from the Bahamas- only allowed 1 bottle duty free per person. Could bring back more but you have to pay the duty on every bottle past 1. Whether there is a max limit regardless of duty I'm not sure.

You are allowed 1 liter per legal aged person in your family. But if you stop in the USVI and buy 1 liter of USVI liquor you can now bring back 5 liters per legal aged family member. But that is tax free and it is up to the customs agent if he/her was to charge you the tax. I hear they can be pretty lax if you do not bring to much back over the limit.

Good Luck Hic and have fun
