Ten of us are taking a transatlantic cruise on Independence of the Seas leaving Southampton on Nov. 23. We stop at Cherbourg on Nov. 25th and are booking a private company (recommended by several past cruisers) for a tour of the Normandy Beaches (Omaha, Utah), the museum, Pointe du Loc and other World War 2 D-Day sites. The total cost for all of us is $2,000 whether we have 10 people or 40. The tour includes a driver and guide.
