I know that the ship and the food are a blast, but is it worth while for 4 20 somthing guys to make a trip of it? We are close to booking so i would appriciate any input.
Im 21 and goin in March. I have asked about a dozen people this same question and I get the same answer. "You'll have a good time no matter what" The feeling Im getting is that it depends on the time of year. If elementry schools are out there going to bel ot of children. People have recomended going on a Carnival ship for partying. Post another message March 21st when I get back I'll let you know whats up.
Hi Billz
Try going on the "Cruise Critic" site you will get more information on the Dawn. From what I read it seems to be an older crowd (65 and up) and not much night life. Good luck whatever you decide.................Linda
Hey well there is a bunch of us goin on the Dawn in September and we are all between 21 and 26 so I am hoping there will be a lot of younger people.. This is the first time I will be going on a cruise with about 15 other friends (mix of girls and guys) but I was told what happens on the ship stays on the ship... so I am excited to meet new people!!

My friend went last July & said it was PACKED with children & families. Your best bet is a Carnival 3 or 4 day cruise, these usually have a lot more singles. Also, South Beach Miami a few days pre-cruise would be an excellent option for single guys.
I just found this web site, I'm going the 3rd week in march w/ my boyfriend and another couple, we are all mid 20's. If i find anything out, I'll post it.
I don't know about the Dawn, but I was on the Sun last week -- I've been on a few Carnival ships prior to NCL....There wasn't a lot of night life, the crowd was much older and even though I enjoyed everything about the cruise, I will probably wait a few years to do NCL again. I'm in my late 20's and I felt like the youngest on board. Again, don't get me wrong - the trip was awesome and I loved it! I enjoyed all the extra little pampering (that I didn't experience on Carnival). But then again, I was upgraded to a penthouse with 2 butlers, so how could I have NOT enjoyed the cruise!?
