Dawn Beach is not easy to get to, you either rent a car or take a taxi. sorry but I do not know the cost.
You drive up a hill and you then drive looking down the hill until you hit a dirt road.
Look for a small opening on the left, it is the parking lot for Dawn Beach. there is a sign that says, "Scavenger's Bar, Dawn Beach."
This beach has white powdery sand and sometimes a lot of broken shells and pebbles as you enter the water, so watch out for them.
It is a great snorkel beach with the coral reef to the right as you enter the water.
You can see St. Bart's in the distance.
For Food you can walk to Mr. Busbys or Scavengers beach bar, it is built in the remains of the Dawn Beach Hotel which was destroyed by a hurricane. or you can walk over to Oyster Pond.
You can rent umbrellas and chairs for around $10
