We did the pontoon boat ride. It was a nice relaxing trip around the shallow estuary. We got to see some nice homes and did see a lot of birds and one manatee and a dolphin. We enjoyed it, but I don't think kids would be too excited. I think there is also an airboat ride from Canaveral also. We did one in Miami and it was great. You might consider that if you have some beach plans for Miami.
