I completely agree with Dancing Queen.

I have cruised with Princess many times - I just came back from the Grand yesterday.

I am 32 and the crowd is always older, mostly mid 40s and up.  But there are always lots of couples and/or honeymooners so you will probably find others to hang with.  This past cruise, there were tons of couples in their twenties.

As far as nightlife goes, I adore Princess but I find that there is not much of a party/nightclub/dancing atmosphere in the discos.  There always seems to be the same handful of people there every night...  At least you'll be a party of three to have fun together!  If you like dancing to live/band music like country, classic, etc in the bars like Wheelhouse Bar or Explorers Lounge,  you'll be fine (I personally prefer the pop/r&b/disco atmosphere and am a night person).

In any case, in my opinion, you can't really go wrong with Princess.  The service is exquisite and the crew are always great and friendly.  I will travelling with Carnival in September 2003 for the first time just  to see what the difference is but I know that Princess will be hard to beat ..!

And San Juan is a great place - I go there almost every year!

Have fun on your cruise!
