You might try calling Carnival directly. Last month I booked the Spirit 12/17 sailing for $620.00 pp for a category 8I. That was the price for past Carnival cruisers. That price was actually the price for a catagory 8A, but they said I could have an 8I for the same price. I don't know if that deal is still on but it won't hurt to call. Good luck to you in finding a good deal.
