I think Victor is gone for good, and also that wacko lady that came to Bree's house. Carlos will be back - he is too well liked (and good looking). Lynettes family will all be ok (yes they were in the collapsed house)- I bet Ida will end up being dead. Just my take - lets see if I am right!

Looks like we have to wait until the writer's strike is over. Part 2 was the last episode in the can. I read that they will wait to run it when they have more episodes filmed and can run for a few weeks. :(

Didn't you love the scene where the psycho was swept away by the tornado. "Ding dong, the witch is dead..." LOL!

At the beginning of the show, Mary Alice said, ONE WOMAN WILL LOSE A HUSBAND, ALL OF THEM WILL LOSE A FRIEND.

Ok, Victor is gone. It looks like Carlos got hit in the head, but he's probably ok. Tom was having a reaction to the cat, it could have gone into full blown asthma attack when the tornado passed over (isn't the air different when that occurs?) Plus, Ida the Cat Lady was "asleep" on the floor. She could have already been a goner from natural causes.

Now we have to wait... the boards say that the follow-up episode is already in the can, but that it is the last one they have. They didn't say NEXT EPISODE IN THE NEW YEAR like House and Grey's did, nor did they say NEXT EPISODE NEXT WEEK. BUT someone on the boards said that TV Guide shows that the next episode is Dec. 16. We did see a preview for a movie in the next week time slot, so we know it's not in seven days!

Victor is done. That storyline needed to come to an end, and you might as well kill him off! I agree that the "friend" is Ida. I guess we'll have to wait and see. More important....will Carlos and Gabby still be able to get the $ from the Caymans? :)

I don't know if Ida could be considered the "friend", she didn't appear all that often. I wouldn't call the psycho a friend, either. I keep wondering who they might have wanted to get rid of. Glad Victor was the husband, I was afraid it would be Tom.

CC, I was just thinking that if it WAS Ida, you are going to have to adopt her cat! :grin I thought the same thing. She isn't too much a part of the show. I am wondering if everyone comes out of it okay at the beginning, then something happens like a roof caves in as they are inspecting their house and the person dies. I thought the friend would be Edie =shrug

I think if someone was said to lose a friend, it would have happened in that hour as they wrap up things at the end..hmm..but they didn't conclude the hubby part did they.....or they'd have to say that again next show......did they have the cat? I don't remember seeing it again.

Interesting show....was it a sweeps week or just trying to keep our interest during the strike? Did any of you happen to catch SNL as that was a super show this weekend too with Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin...guest surprises Martin Short AND Paul McCartney...plus Tony Bennett came on with Alec for a very funny skit, sang a duet, then also joined Christine Aguilera in a duet! WOW..haven't seen that good a show on there for years!

That was the best Desperate Housewives episode I've ever seen. I just knew someone was going to get part of the picket fence thru them - I guess I've seen too many tornado movies and the damage left behind by real tornados. Bye-bye Victor.
