We are planning a cruise to Hawaii on the Diamond PrincessS Spring 2008, We will book a balcony cabin. What would be better, port or starboard while cruising to the different islands?
Port side if you'll be sailing by Kauai's Na Pali coastline.
Starboard side if you'll be sailing by Mt. Kilauea's lava flow, although some Captains do try to turn around so both sides of the ship can see it & hear it.
