We have dined at Sterling's on the Caribbean Princess. On our upcoming cruise on the Emerald they have the Crown Grill. Can someone who has dined at both tell me if they differ and how.

I checked their web site and there sure isn't much info. About the only difference I see is that Sterlings is listed as Steakhouse and Crown is listed as Steak & Seafood. My guess is that they are pretty much the same, maybe just different decor.

Re: Difference between Crown Grill and Sterling's

My only experience was Sterling's on the Sun and Crown Grill on the Emerald and the Crown Grill was superior to Sterling's on the Sun, food wise and ambiance, because on the Sun, Sterling's is a sectioned off area of the Horizon Court.

I've dined at both restaurants. As someone else mentioned, Sterlings was a sectioned off part of the Horizon court on one ship (can't remeber which) and the experience was OK but not great. The Crown Grill on the Emerald (we were there last February) was so good that we went back a second night. The reasons for ourpreference ran right across the board: ambiance, quality and choices of food, level of service . . . you will enjoy it! By the way, the Italian resaurant was also excellent.
