I find the fanny pack idea works great as well.These cameras do so much but one thing I like is they can work as a simple point and shoot too. As Love The Sea is doing, get out and play with the multi-shot and portrait and manual override type features. It's fun. I'm still discovering features on my camera that I didn't realize I had. And since the larger 128 cards hold so much you can even take the same shot in color, sepia, b/w, vivid color and not worry about wasting "film". Most cameras seem to have the ability to take mini-videos now. .AVI files. This is fun but it is still better IMHO to use a camcorder for your movie needs. And the .AVI videos eat memory too
