I have just booked a cruise to Alaska on the Diamond Princess. The agent told me the early seating was on wait list and I should do personal dining. I am traveling by myself. Does this mean each evening I will be taken to a different table to fill it up? The agent hasn't gotten bak to me to explain.

Thands for any info.

Yes, every time you will have different tablemates and can eat what ever time you want during dinner hours. But you can request a certain table and time thru the Matre D. If you prefer traditional dinning, as soon as you get on the ship check with the Matre D to see if they can accomodate you.

Although it seems that the traditional dining always has a waitlist, on our last several cruises we always see tables that are not full in the traditional dining room. Definately see the maitre d' because I'm sure that there will be unfilled seats in there.
