We are taking a cruise on Sun Princess to Alaska Sept 9 2007.We have never cruised on Princess before but have been on RCL several times. My wife does not drink coffee or alcohol. We would like to know what beverages are available in the dining room for dinner? Also, she would like to know your opinion on if wearing white shoes after Labor Day is appropriate? We read another earlier thread about this for the Caribbean and it was ok. But what about Alaska? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

ice tea. You can buy coke products, (soda/pop).

As far as the white shoes goes, heck I wear white sneakers. I wouldnt care. Unless you attempt to eat your lobster with your feet. Trust me, that is not an easy task :lol I generally keep my feet on the floor.

I don't think anyone will notice or care. If the white shoes are what go with her outfit, I say go for it.

BTW I wear white shoes after labor day all the time, whether on a cruise or at home. If the weather call for summer clothes, that's what I wear.

And we can have hot summer weather here in Ohio well into October. Of course we can have zero degrees and blizzards then too. You gotta go with the flow.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure I'd wear white shoes in September in Alaska but that is more because of the outfits and colours I would probably pack for an Alaska cruise rather that any "fashion rules"! If your wife's outfit seems to call for white shoes then I think it would be appropriate. ....bit summery feeling though. Oh heck, what do I know!!

As for beverages in the dining room...coffee, tea, iced tea, milk, juice, water....all of these should be available!
