Does Celebrity have the free style dining, or do they just have early sitting and late sitting at designated times.

Celebrity is very traditional. They do not have a Freestyle Dining (NCL) concept. However, you can eat at the specialty restaurant on the Millie class ships, or there is alternative dining if you make a reservation. For the dining room, there is an early and late seating. Personally, we prefer that. However, I can understand why some people may prefer Freestyle, or Personal Choice. We do not. Isn't wonderful that we have a choice of cruise lines so that people can persue their preferences?

As Paulfredo said, Celebrity is very traditional. NCL is the freestyle line and Princess does offer both a personal choice and tradiitional.

You may book your dining hours in the alternative dining for anytime you wish that the restaurants are open for dinner. Menu is generally fixed and service not up to their "Traditional" dinning however but you certainly can have flexability in hours if you wish.

We missed lunch twice on the last cruise due to being in port - rather than wait for the pizza bar to open at 3PM, we ordered room service - it was a great alternative with a pretty decent selection.
