I'm thinking of getting a group ( family ) cruise together for Bermuda 8/08.
Will NCL let me make a reservation for a group of 26 for dinner. Will I have to make it everyday or can I make it for the week.
Thanks for you help

Yes, NCL will allow you to make a reservation for a large group at the Main Restaurants. Most likely they will ask you to dine early or later.

WE HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE WITH 35 PEOPLE AND FIND THE EASIEST THING TO DO IS BOOK YOUR WEEKS RESERVATIONS RIGHT AWAY THE FIRST DAY, IT IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT BECAUSE THEN EACH DAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASK EVERYONE WHAT THEY WANT TO DO. I LOVE FREE STYLE CRUISING!!!

Are you sure everyone will WANT to eat with everyone else, every single day? Maybe they'll want to try some of the other eating venues on the ship...or shore? I know I would...but then, I'm not a "group" person, even when it's family!

We have done a couple group sailings and never have we all wanted to eat at the same time. In fact that is one reason we like "freestyle" You can eat in groups of 2,4 6 or whatever you choose and vary this daily. The first group we did was on Celebrity about 3 years ago. We had to decide early or late and how many at the table. It was almost impossible to get more than 8 at a table, plus we really would have enjoyed eating with different people a couple of nights and at different times. On our last group cruise (Sept on the Star) we ate one night as a group. We set it up with the ship coordinator prior to sailing and verified it when we boarded the ship. The rest of the time we did our own thing, when we wanted. Sometimes several of us got together, other times just the 2 of us, we choose to eat in specialty dining rooms 3 nights.
