The two dining rooms are off set by 1/2 hour, the reasoning being that it will be more efficient for both the kitchen and dining room staff which means that you will get your food quicker and still hot. If you requested early sitting that is what you most probally will get. The exact time you are assigned will depend upon which dining room you are assigned. Nornally but not always if your cabin is forward of mid-ship you will get the forward dining room and if cabin is aft of mid-ship you will get the aft dining room.
