Discounted Meditteranean Tours ???

Hi,
This will be my first European cruise. I am wanting to know if tour tenders will be by the port when our ship arrives. If so, do they offer similar excursions like that by the cruiselines but at discounted prices?
Or, should I just purchase the excursions by RCCL?
Any recommendations for Must sees in Barcelona, Rome, Florence, Naples, Nice and Provence?
