We took the boat to the falls and back. You get on the boat at the dock, float over to the falls, dock, walk down the pier onto the beach, and then either climb the falls, or climb the steps besides the falls. It is a neat experience, and not a long or difficult walk, (except when you climb the falls, of course)The bus takes you around and you go down the stairs and then back up. We didn't do that, so can't help there.
