I was curious to find ou if the Rcl cruises would count toward your total for the captains club. And visa versa do your Celebrity cruises count toward the Crown and anchor? I think that they should.

No you cannot add your cruises on RCCL and Celebrity together to determine your cruise total.
You will be given a matching membership level based on your highest membership level (second level or above membership only) in either cruiseline. The count for each line will still stay separate.

Thanks for the input. It is not what I wanted to hear, but what can you do. I was hoping the 2 would count as a total because C elebrity is leaving a BIG VOID In the Caribbean by taking its ships to Europe.maybe in the future they will do this so that customers don't have to go to another line in the summer months.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought RCI announced a few months ago that Celebrity and Royal Caribbean cruises would be combined for awards for Captain's Club or Crown & Anchor Club. Correct me if I'm wrong

In our latest Captains Club newsletter
" As a Captain’s Club member, you’re accustomed to enjoying special benefits every time you step on board. And now that can also be true when you sail with Royal Caribbean. In fact, we’re pleased to announce that Select and Elite members may enjoy equivalent recognition in Royal Caribbean International’s Crown & Anchor Society.
Now Select and Elite Captain’s Club members who are not members of the Crown & Anchor Society may join at the Platinum and Diamond levels, respectively. To join, call Crown & Anchor at 1-800-526-9723 or 1-316-554-5951. As a member of the Crown & Anchor Society, you’ll enjoy special savings, complimentary wine tastings, and more. And when Select members move to the Elite level, their Crown & Anchor Society status will also advance to the Diamond level.
Already a Crown & Anchor Society and a Captain’s Club member? Your status has automatically been upgraded to match your Captain’s Club Select or Elite status.
Of course, our valued Classic members may also enjoy this benefit once they complete five cruise credits and advance to the Select level.
To learn more about this new benefit, call 1-800-760-0654 or 1-316-554-5961, or visit celebrity.com. For details on Royal Caribbean International’s Crown & Anchor Society, visit royalcaribbean.com."
According to the letter we received, they are not combining the cruises.

Yes I was quite upset to learn that I had to first reach the second level of the RCCL Crown & Anchor Society before this first cruise of mine on Celebrity would count. So I don't get any benefits at all on this first cruise, we've been on 3 RCCL

At this time, yes. I've been on 4 cruises with RCCL and now 6 with Celebrity and with each one I have the benefits. RCCL platinum and with Celebrity Select.
