We are sailing on the CP in Oct. Several questions have come up as to when and what regarding the documents we ar supposed to receive.

1. How far out will the excursion docs be sent to us? Will they arrive by themselves or be attached to other pre-cruise info? I would look at the Princess web site and print them but my puter is sooooo sloooooow.

2. How far out do we receive other documents? We have used the Princess Cruise Personalizer and sent our personal info to them.

Basically what I am trying to ascertain is what documents will we receive and when? Maybe I should have said that in the first place.

The shore excursion booklet and form will come about 60 days out, with it will be the cruise answer book, the insurance info., and the immigration forms. Your tickets and luggage tags will come somewhere around 2-4 weeks out.

Sometimes, you do not receive an excursion booklet with your pre-cruise or final documents. Ask Princess to send you a booklet. If it is a new itinerary, they may not have the booklet printed yet...which is what happened to us. Excursions were not available to be booked online until about 50 days prior to sailing. Until they got the forms printed up and sent out in the pre-cruise docs and passengers had received them, then would not open up the booking online. Only fair of course...online people shouldn't have that unfair advantage.
