Does Carnival have a loyalty program?

Hope someone can help. I don't know much about Carnival (only been on a couple cruises with them). Do they have a program like RCI's Crown & Anchor or Princess' Captain's Circle Club for repeat passengers?

If so, shouldn't we have received something in the mail after the first cruise with them?

Thanks for the help! :)

They offer discounts on any of the cruise lines they own and they send a mag. called Currents for past passengers. They also started having a past guest welcome back type get together onboard (cocktail party). Then depending on which of the cruise lines you sail with you can get a few other perks like on HAL they give you a tile of some sort for past guest.S7s would know what the tile thing is,they just told me that is what we would get if we sailed on Hal along with the cocktail party. They don't have levels like RCCL. Some of their other lines do , such as Princess and I believe HAL has something also.

Wow! I didn't know any of this! Thanks for the information. Guess I better give Carnival a call......two or three cruises with them isn't much, but might as well get credit for it!

Thanks again! :thumb

Yes...give them a call!

I did and got an incredible discount on my upcoming Triumph sailing. I've never gotten a magazine, though. They just look up your past sailing (by name, date, etc) and can give you your discount that way. I was so surprised at the great deal I got.....CALL, CALL, CALL!

After getting transferred around 3 times, they finally pulled up our names and addresses by our new phone number. I have no idea how they got the new information because we have just moved. I was glad, though. They said they'd send a "Currents" magazine again and hopefully, we'll get this one.

Thanks for all the help!

I'm glad to see that somebody got something from CCL for being a "Past Guest". Besides the Currents magazine and the PG cocktail party (neither one a big deal), we've never received any benefit from our 7 previous CCL cruises. When booking our 8th recently on the Glory (11/8/03 sailing) I first contacted our TA and got what I considered to be a very good rate for a balcony cabin. I immediately called CCL to see if they could or would do better. How droll!

I told the Carnival agent what my TA's price was, and she said "take it". She quoted me a price that was $340 more than the TA's quote for the same cabin on the same sailing date! She knew that we were Past Guests, but it didn't make any difference. We deal with a TA that specializes in cruises, and it's obvious that they get much bigger discounts than you can get from CCL. I'm surprised and pleased that Lizardstew was able to do so well w/CCL.
Good luck to the rest of you.

When we sailed on RCCL I felt left out because a good number of the people we knew before the cruise from the internet kept meeting in this special room for return guests that we weren't allowed in. Perhaps Carnival wants to make everyone feel special.

Return guests can sometimes get better prices...but it's usually through specific "return guest" sales and not an all the time thing. The Current's magazine often has discount coupons in it as well.

The return guest Cocktail party is nice...free drinks (alcoholic and great non-alcoholic punch) and hot finger/toothpick foods. A personal thanks from the Captain. It could be worse...it could be nothing.

Not really......... But!

We got a great deal on a balcony cabin for 17 Dec Spirit 8 Night to Barbados.

You have to find the "past guest" codes that are on the CCL web site and then call.

Without the codes the CCL agents are lost and that is why the TA gave you such a deal.

We got two rooms (8G and 4D) and are saving over $780 US over Travelocity prices.

Good hunting.

I just received a $300.00 cupon from CCL, but since I'm already booked for 12/27 (Glory) my TA is having problems with CCL in order for them to honor this cupon.
Per CCL this is just for new bookings. I don't know if I should cancel my existing reservation and book a new one, even with the new price I will be saving $112.00.
This will be my #3 cruise with CCL and the "past guest savings" program is not working for me!

I have the code in my cupon. But per CCL, it is only good for the 12/20 sailing (Glory).
Per the cupon: 12/20/2003 through 12/31/2003. My sailing date is 12/27, NYE.
