When we sailed on RCCL I felt left out because a good number of the people we knew before the cruise from the internet kept meeting in this special room for return guests that we weren't allowed in. Perhaps Carnival wants to make everyone feel special.Return guests can sometimes get better prices...but it's usually through specific "return guest" sales and not an all the time thing. The Current's magazine often has discount coupons in it as well.The return guest Cocktail party is nice...free drinks (alcoholic and great non-alcoholic punch) and hot finger/toothpick foods. A personal thanks from the Captain. It could be worse...it could be nothing.
