Does Princess give free hotel rooms?

On all my cruises out of Miami on RCCL, they include a free night, usually at the Hyatt. That's because I fly from San Diego and I won't take a "red eye". So they include a free hotel for one night. Does Princess do the same thing?

Hi Frank, We are flying form Vancouver B.C and we have a hotel room included in our air fare. It is called a "forced overnight" there is no flight that would get us to Florida on the day of a cruise. To be honest the price of our hotel , air, and transfers to the port seem really cheap to us. It is in Canadain $ so it works out to about 500 American( taxes included) Which sounds good to us, I know alot of people book their own air and hotel , but there is no way we could do it cheaper than Princess did it for us.

I'm not a Carribean cruiser but in my numerous Princess cruises around the world I've never experienced a free night. (I've gotten a whole land vacation in an extraordinary circumstance and I've gotten a "free night" when the ship wasn't in port.)

Good Luck!

Pat:

I always like to fly in early no matter where I cruise. If the cruise line won't provide a free room (RCCL will not for a San Juan cruise that leaves after 10:00PM. ) I just pay for one. But if RCCL wants to pay for a night at the Hyatt Regency Miami, I will not argue.
I have had at least 5 RCCl cruises where a free hotel room is included since there is no easy way to get to a 5:00PM cruise from San Diego. I was just wondering if Princess does the same.

A few years ago those Ramada time shares out of Florida gave a free 3 day cruise on one of those old Big Red Boats. If you sat through an ugly time share presentation. They did charge a "small" fee that turned out to be a rip[offf.
