We will be sailing out of Seattle on May 15th.

We will be arriving a day earlier and staying at the Marriott Renaissance.

Is there any where close by where we can make those last minute purchases ?

Maybe something like a chain grocery/liquor store !!

I'm thinking that you should be able to find everything enroute to the port if you are taking a cab. I'm really unsure of that area of Madison however. You will pass Pikes market enroute or you could if cabbie willing. I think most stuff is there. Sorry can't be if much assistance.

Mike,

There may be something closer, but I know Pike Place Market http://www.pikeplacemarket.org/ has at least one liquor store. You can see how close it is to your hotel. http://www.themadison.com/location.html The Market is a lot of fun to shop through if you have time on the day before leaving.

We are in Port Angeles, about 1 1/2-2 hours drive/ferry time from Seattle. Hope to see you on board. We will be in cabin E218.

Mike, I just remembered that Pike Place Market may only have wine. Here in Washington State all hard liquor is sold through state controlled stores....which are not near as numerous as the wine boutique places. If you are looking for hard liquor the Seattle yellow pages shows a state liquor store on 4th avenue near Safeco field, which would be right on your way to the port. Here's a map:
