To all who are booked on Celebrity Northern European/Baltic Cruises 2005:
There have been drastic changes made to your itineraries. Ports have been dropped. Ports have been added. Days at Sea have been added. Amount of time in ports has been dropped by up to 25% average. In fact, many ports that formerly had full days, now have half days. In the case of the Century, St Petersburg has been cut from a two day port call to one day!
Itinerary changes are certainly part of the cruise experience and is totally understandable when weather and/or political issues intervene. However, this borders on fraud. Investigation of the official port bookings for Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Rostock, Oslo, Tallinn and Gdynia have shown the true schedule for Celebrity ports of call for months. one official port record indicates that Celebrity booked the port of call (in opposition to the posted itinerary) a year ago! Yet, Celebrity continued advertising a
non-existent itinerary.
Please do not hesitate to contact Celebrity and let them know how badly they have failed their customers.
