Dress Code on Century

I understand what to wear in the dining rooms and all but is there a specific dress code on other parts of the ship? I was just reading a review and the woman mentioned that on formal nights you had to dress formally throughout the ship after 6pm. Is this true? I love to dress up for dinner but it would be nice to just get back into casual clothes and sit on deck at night.

That is waht they say when on board the Century. However many people change after dinner into something more comfortable. I rent a tux for the 2 formal nights, so I wear it after dinner to get my money's worth out of it. :lol

Like Hooked said, it is what Celebrity says to do, but not everyone goes to the formal dinner to begin with ,so those people are dressed casual and many go and change after dinner or the show so they can be comfortable.

On a couple of cruises, I have seen people turned away at the show that didn't follow the evening dress. On others, they let them in.

Saw the same thing daysatsea on our last Celebrity cruise. Matter of fact, saw folks turned away from night festivities who were not in formal attire.

See they are just not consistent with their policies =shrug I saw the same thing when we were on the Zenith, people turned away because of how they were dressed. I just never ran into it on the Century..... yet. I guess to be sure if you plan on going to the shows stay dressed just to be safe. I had a migraine headache one formal night on the Century and didn't go to dinner. Then after taking my meds I felt better and went to the show in shorts. Guess I was lucky =dunno
