My understanding is that RCCL no longer has drink cards...is this true? They do have soda cards thought, right?

I looked thru my docs-we sail on 2/20 on the Radiance ...and there was no mention of a "drink card", just different levels of a "wine Package", and the soda card...$4 day for 18 under, and $6 day for 18 and older...hope this helps. Someone else had mentioned a drink card, but I know the last two times we cruised w/RCCL, no mention of a drink card-guess they lose to much money. But Ive heard of other cruise lines that have drink cards...

royal only offers a alcohol drink card to large groups only.

When I was on the Explorer of the Seas last year there was only a soda/juice card for the cruise. There was no alcohol card. The drink card was 6.00 per day plus tax and 15% gratuity.

My husband and I are booked on the Navigator 4-34-05 through 4-30-05. We got our documents a couple of weeks ago and that was one of the 1st things we looked for because last time we spent so much money on drinks. The documents say there are drink cards available but only for a limited time on the day of boarding. There's the catch. If you don't get it early you'll miss out. We'll be standing in line. After all...what is a cruise for but letting your hair down and having fun!
